About Us ....
Greenhall Riding Centre is owned by mother and daughter team Jean and Rachael Easterby. Both have been riding and have had a livery yard for many years, but have recently decided to expand the business to include a riding centre to make full use of the 18 stables and outdoor arena.
Rachael is qualified to BHSAI level. Her other qualifications include:
- National Diploma in Horse Management
- Safeguarding and Protection of Children
- Equine Specific First Aid
- BEF Duty of Care and Child Protection
Jean is the Yard Manager and looks after the administration of the business.
Health & Safety Policy
Greenhall Riding Centre conducts an approved Health and Safety policy.
Fire notices are displayed, and procedures are in place to ensure the safety of staff and students in the event of a fire.
An accident book is kept on site for recording minor accidents by staff and students.
All our horses and ponies are schooled and carefully matched to the rider's ability. However, please remember that riding is a high risk sport, and riders are advised to take out personal accident insurance to protect themselves in the event of any incident. All equipment supplied is checked regularly and meets all recommended British safety standards where applicable.
Greenhall Riding Centre is fully insured for Public Liability.
The riding centre is licensed with the Local Authority.
